January 2025 Service Changes

Marin Transit, Golden Gate Transit, and SMART have partnered to improve service in the Highway 101 Corridor. Starting January 12th, riders will benefit from improved service and better connections between services offered by each transit agency in Marin County!

Overview of Schedule Changes:

Effective Sunday, January 12th, 2025, Marin Transit will have schedule adjustments to allow for improved connections. 

• Route 17: Weekday addition of eight midday trips, Saturday addition of two southbound evening trips, and Sunday addition of one southbound evening trip. (schedule eff. 1/12/25)
• Route 23: Weekday evening and weekend minor schedule adjustments (schedule eff. 1/12/25)
• Route 29: Removal of three northbound trips and minor schedule adjustments (schedule eff. 1/12/25)
• Route 35: Weekday removal of one trip as well as minor weekday and weekend schedule adjustments (schedule eff. 1/12/25)
• Route 36: Weekday minor schedule adjustments (schedule eff. 1/12/25)
• Route 49: Weekday minor schedule adjustments (schedule eff. 1/12/25)
• Route 57: Weekday and weekend minor schedule adjustments as well as the removal of Indian Valley College stops on weekends (schedule eff. 1/12/25)
• Route 71: Weekday and weekend minor schedule adjustments (schedule eff. 1/12/25)
• Route 219: Weekday schedule adjustments to align with new Tiburon Ferry Schedule (schedule eff. 1/12/25)

Golden Gate Transit will be adding new trips to Routes 101, 130, and 580. They will be implementing minor schedule changes on Routes 101, 130, 132, 154, 164, 172, and 580. Once available, schedule details will be available on their website here: https://www.goldengate.org
