Marin Transit has two advisory committees that allow members of the public to learn about and provide input on our services. Marin Transit is directed by a seven member Transit District policy board. The Transit District Board includes elected representatives from the County Board of Supervisors (all five districts), two city representatives, and an alternate city representative. City representatives are appointed by the Marin County Council of Mayors and Councilmembers (MCCMC) to two year terms. Marin Transit Board Members do not receive compensation for service on the Board.
All meetings held in the Marin Civic Center, County Board of Supervisors' Chambers, Room 330 on the 3rd floor unless noted.

Marin Transit attends various community events across Marin County in order to reach Marin County residents in the places they already frequent. At these events, Travel Navigators are available to answer questions about Marin Access and Marin Transit services. All meetings are open to members of the public and we welcome your participation.
Due to the COVID-19 pandemic and restrictions on public gatherings, all in-person community events are cancelled until further notice. Upon request Marin Transit can schedule or participate in events remotely via video or phone conference call. To learn more or request participation in a community event, email info@marintransit.org.
