Marin County Fair Detours

All Aboard to the County Fair!

The Fairgrounds are accessible via the Route 35, the Route 49, and the SMART Civic Center station. Route 71 as well as Route 233 provide service to nearby stops.

Don't forget - Marin Transit will be running a Sunday / Holiday schedule on July 04.

Free Fare for the Fair!

Why fight with traffic and parking? Marin Transit provides regular service through the Marin Civic Center and the Marin County Fairgrounds!

Marin Transit is pleased to provide free fare for all regular service during the Marin County Fair. Passengers can ride for free any time between July 03 and July 07. 

This promotion is not available on Marin Access or demand response services.

Service Detours - July 3 through July 7

Route 35

The Route 35 will not be serving the stop at Judge Haley Drive through the duration of the fair. Any trip departing after 9:00 PM will not serve any of the stops along Civic Center Drive. Please see the detour outlined below. 

Route 49

The Route 49 will not be serving the stop at Judge Haley Drive through the duration of the fair. Any trip departing after 9:00 PM will not serve any of the stops along Civic Center Drive. Please see the detour outlined below. 

Route 71

Route 71 will provide regular service throughout the Fair. The nearest stop to the County Fairgrounds is approximately 3/4 of a mile walk. 

Route 233

The Route 233 will not be serving the stop at Judge Haley Drive through the duration of the fair.

Additional Evening Service 

Marin Transit will also provide additional service on the Route 35 and the Route 49 after the fireworks shows to ensure that riders have a smooth ride home. You can see more at the map below or contact us for more information!
