Satellite hours are a way for the Travel Navigators to reach Marin County residents in the places they already frequent. At these "office hours," Travel Navigators are available to answer questions about Marin Access and Marin Transit services, help riders begin the application process, and provide referrals to other services or resources.

“Navigating Transit” is a free one-hour presentation and discussion about alternatives to driving for older adults in Marin County. A Marin Transit representative will present extensive information on riding local transit, including trip planning, tips for riding and fare options for older adults. It also includes a discussion of transportation alternatives available to older adults in Marin County including volunteer driver programs and the Marin Catch-A-Ride service. Finally, information on Marin Access Paratransit is presented in depth for those interested in that program
