Short Range Transit Plan

The Short Range Transit Plan is the 10-year framework for planning and operating the local transit system.

Improving transit in Marin County is an ongoing process of monitoring and refining to respond to rider and community needs. As required by Measure A, the Marin Transit Short Range Transit Plan is updated every two years. 

In 2022, Marin Transit completed a "mini-SRTP" update focused on financial and service planning within a five-year period as required by the Metropolitan Transportation Commission (MTC): 2023-2028 "Mini" Short Range Transit Plan
