Real Time Information Signs

Marin Transit has installed 18 solar powered Real Time information signs at bus stops in Marin County! Funded with a Federal Lifeline Grant, the signs can be found at bus stops in Marin City, Novato, the Northgate Mall in the Terra Linda neighborhood of San Rafael, and the Canal neighborhood in San Rafael. Future installations are planned for early 2021 at the Marin Civic Center and Health & Human Services Center in San Rafael, the Sausalito Ferry, and downtown San Rafael.

The signs display real time transit departure information from the regional 511 data feed which is sync’d to display the same information provided on the Transit Mobile Phone Application and Marin Transit’s website.
