Strollers/Luggage/Bicycles
Due to space limitations and safety considerations, we are unable to accommodate large personal items such as bicycles or surfboards inside Stagecoach buses. Vehicles are equipped with front mounted racks that can carry two bicycles. Bike racks are available on a first-come, first-served basis. There is no guarantee that a Stagecoach bus returning from West Marin will have space for additional bikes. Vehicles are equipped with rear wheel-chair lifts and space for up to two wheelchairs. Luggage or other personal articles must be placed in overhead racks or under a seat. Do not put luggage or personal articles in the aisles, in the wheelchair securement areas or on seats. Fold up baby strollers. Passengers are responsible for their own belongings. Unattended items are subject to immediate disposal.

Bolinas to Olema AM Trip
December 4, 2012
Effective Monday, December 10, 2012, the first morning trip between Bolinas and Olema on Route 61 will be discontinued. No other schedule times will be affected. Download the new brochure here.
Stagecoach Route 61 Seasonal Service Ends

Beginning November 11, 2012, The South Route 61 will not be running additional weekend & holiday trips until the peak season resumes the 2nd Sunday of March 2013.
Service between Bolinas and Olema
August 20, 2012
Marin Transit will be providing additional service between Bolinas and Olema designed to meet the bell times at Tam and Drake High Schools with timed transfers in Olema. Schedules for Route 61 and 68 will will be adjusted to allow for this additional service beginning Monday, August 20, 2012. Service will run Monday to Friday. Download the new brochure here.

Stagecoach Route 61 and Route 68 provide access to many hiking trailheads in West Marin. For more information, visit www.transitandtrails.org/marinstage. Please note: Route 61 does not directly serve the Muir Woods National Monument park entrance. Take the seasonal Muir Woods Shuttle (Marin Transit Route 66) for direct access to Muir Woods. This service operates weekends and holidays from May to September. |
