EffectiveEffective June 4, 2022, the Muir Woods Shuttle (Route 66) pickup will temporarily move from the Pohono Parking Lot to the Larkspur Landing Ferry Terminal Parking Lot. Service will continue to/from the Sausalito Ferry on Route 66.

Sausalito Service Returns Memorial Day Weekend
EffectiveEffective Saturday, May 28, Muir Woods Shuttle service from Sausalito (Route 66f) will resume on weekends and holidays. Weekday service from Sausalito will also return this summer and run between June 20 and August 12.

The Muir Woods Shuttle provides seasonal service to the Muir Woods National Monument from the Larkspur Landing Ferry Parking Lot and Sausalito Ferry Terminal.
The Shuttle operates weekends & holidays year-round and select weekdays during the summer months. Check the service calendar to ensure that the Shuttle is operating at the time you wish to travel.
We highly encourage you to purchase advance tickets for the Shuttle along with your entrance to the park. Tickets can be purchased online at gomuirwoods.com .
Service Calendar
Schedule
Schedules vary throughout the year depending upon the time of year and day of the week. Generally, service operates every 10-20 minutes on peak summer weekends and holidays and every 30-40 minutes on weekdays. Service to Muir Woods from Sausalito/Larkspur currently operates from approximately 9:30 am to 5:00 pm and return service from the Muir Woods operates until the 8:00 pm (or earlier depending upon Park closure times). Fares and Payment Options
Round-trip fares are booked and paid online at gomuirwoods.com. If you are unable to access the online ticketing system, please ask driver for alternative fare payment options. Retain your ticket to present to the driver on your return trip. Marin Transit passes and Clipper are not accepted on this Route.
