HAPPY NEW YEAR!
Since December 3, 2018 construction crews have been busy constructing improvements for the final phase of the State of Good Repair (SOGR) Bus Stop Improvements Project. The project primarily consists of upgrades to passenger amenities and Americans with Disabilities (ADA) improvements.
This first week of the new year, the plan is to install new shelters at 2 locations: Canal & Medway and Lincoln & Grand.
During the week of January 7-11, scheduled construction activities are show below. The rainy forecast may push some tasks into the following week.
Manuel T Freitas Parkway at Del Ganado Road
✔ Temporarily relocate stop 270 feet from current bus stop
✔ Remove curbs, gutters, sidewalk & planter
✔ Construct new sidewalk and curbs
Canal Street at Medway Road
✔ Temporarily relocate stop 195 feet from current bus stop
✔ Remove sidewalk & asphalt
✔ Construct new sidewalk & pavement
✔ Install new shelter & trash receptacle
Tamalpais & Madera
✔ Install new shelter
Weather permitting, a total of 11 bus stops will undergo improvements by the end of February. To track progress, follow this news section for bi-weekly updates.
