Route 113 & 154 Schedule Adjustments
eff. September 8, 2015
Effective Tuesday, September 8, 2015, the morning Route 113 trip will depart 10 min earlier from all stops, and the first morning Route 154 trip will depart 8 min earlier from all stops.

Route 115 to Willow Creek
eff. September 2, 2015
Effective Wednesday, September 2, 2015, the southbound Route 115 trip to Willow Creek will begin in Marin City and will no longer serve Tam Junction. Please see updated schedule below.

Marin General Stop Relocation
eff. July 22, 2015
Effective Wednesday, July 22, 2015, the stop at Bon Air Rd & Marin General Hospital Emergency Entrance will be temporarily relocated due to construction. For service on Route 29 and Route 228, please use the temporary stop location on the other side of the hospital driveway.

Nave Dr & Main Gate Rd
eff. July 13, 2015
Beginning Monday, July 13, 2015, the northbound stop at Nave Dr & Main Gate Rd will be temporarily closed for approximately 5 weeks due to construction. For service on Route 49, Route 251, Route 257, and Route 259, please use the stop at Nave Dr & Bolling Dr.

Stored Value Cards
eff. July 1, 2015
Stored Value Cards will no longer be sold after June 30, 2015. They will continue to be accepted as fare payment until further notice.

Muir Woods Shuttle Weekday Service
June 22 - August 14, 2015
NEW for the 2015 season, the Muir Woods Shuttle will operate DAILY beginning Saturday, June 20 through Sunday, August 16. The Shuttle will continue operating on weekends & holidays through Sunday, October 25, 2015. Click here for schedule information.

Route 61 Changes
eff. March 1, 2015
Effective Sunday, March 1, 2015, Route 61 weekend and holiday service will be expanded during the peak season, which will be from March through October. Schedule times for one existing trip will be affected. Click here to download the rider announcement with the new schedule.

Marin Transit Bus Passes for College of Marin Students
August 7, 2015
Starting in the Fall 2015 semester, all registered College of Marin students will have unlimited access to local Marin Transit buses, including a faster, direct route to both campuses, with their validated COM Card.

Faster, direct service to COM
The College of Marin Express Route 122 will begin service on Monday, August 17th. The route will operate between the San Rafael Transit Center and the COM Kentfield campus, with some trips also serving Indian Valley Campus. Click here to see schedules.

Countywide School Transportation Study
May 5, 2015
Marin Transit is collaborating with the Transportation Authority of Marin and the Marin County Office of Education to assess countywide school transportation needs and services and options for future improvements. The assessment will focus on non-mandated home to school transportation provided primarily by public and private transit and the County’s Safe Routes to School programs.
